Pineapple and Icecream

Cut slices from a fresh pineapple. Peel and core them. (Easier than it seems)
Put them under the grill at a short distance, long enough for them to have slightly browned. (Jamie Oliver adds vanilla sugar, which helps the caramelizing, but I think it makes it too sweet)
Serve with a rounded ball of vanilla icecream in the hole and top with coarsely grate dark chocolate. Stick a sprig of mint on top.

Other types of fruit in other seasons will do as well.
