Grandma's Applesauce

Cut up and wash some cooking apples. Don't peel or core. Boil in very little water until soft. Pass through a sieve with the rounded side of a ladle. Add sugar, lemon juice and cinnamon to taste.
Eat warm or cold as a side dish; or with double or whipped cream as dessert.

Brings back memories of childhood!
